Gasparri weist Pacelli an, den Hausarzt des Münsteraner Professors für Homiletik und theologische Propädeutik Donders, der ein Kandidat für den Hildesheimer Bischofsstuhl ist, ausfindig zu machen und zur Gesundheit seines Patienten zu befragen. Sofern Donders keine Einwände hat, soll der Nuntius dessen Ernennung auf den Weg bringen.
