Floreria Pontificia

Die Floreria Pontificia (oder Apostolica) verwaltete alle beweglichen Gegenstände der apostolischen Paläste bzw. seit 1870 des apostolischen Palastes, außer der liturgischen Gefäße und Paramente sowie der Baustoffe und der Kutschen und Sättel. Sie war unter anderem dafür zuständig, die Säle der Paläste bzw. des Palasts für Konsistorien und Kongregationen einzurichten. Die Floreria wurde vom Floriere geleitet, der dem Foriere maggiore, dem zweiten Hofamt nach dem Maggiordomo, unterstellt war. Seit ca. 1903 wurde sie von einem Reggente provvisorio geleitet. Dieses Amt hatte Pietro Costa inne, der seit ca. 1917 unter der Bezeichnung Reggente firmierte. Er übte es bis ca. 1933 aus.
